What We Do To Serve You

Members of our Fire Company, 2014

Members of our Fire Company, 2014

Although we are known as a "fire company," our responsibilities are not limited to just fire calls.  A modern fire department is responsible for assisting with the following types of emergencies:

  • Commercial, Residential and Industrial Fire Incidents
  • Motor Vehicle Accidents
  • Medical Assistance
  • Search & Rescue
  • Water Rescue
  • Hazardous Materials Incidents (Haz-Mat)
  • Flooding of Roadways or Homes
  • Mutual Aid to neighboring Fire, Police or Medical agencies
  • Natural Disasters
  • Emergencies due to Broken Infrastructure

All of our members donate their time to learn, train, perform drills, maintain equipment, plan and respond to calls in order to help our fellow residents in their times of need.  If you find yourself in a "moment of need," the members of Schonowe Fire Company will be there to help.
